50k? In the motor, which its what LPM was responsible for? Hmmmm... I think you might want to check your numbers.
Do you really want an explanation? You're not gonna like the answer... Suffice to say that I will state my life on the fact that if I had the car or that motor I'd have it going at least low 10's. I even asked James if he wanted help to get it there, but he is set on his path. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Without even being dialed in that motor makes a good bit more power than my current setup and it gets down the track just fine, even at a much heavier weight. So before you start barking up the wrong tree, think about it logically. You also might want to get a few more actual "facts" from both sides before you start the blame game.

the juice will hit like a hammer soon enough...
It really is a darned shame. He has been racing with us for a looong time and been pushing the envelope since day one.
A loss to our community for sure.

Sorry e
Not trying to be a dik at all. I, like many others, tried to get James to keep it as well! we would all love him to stick it out and see it through and are all sad to see him go. However, that doesn't give someone the right to come in and start blaming, especially when they obviously don't have all the facts. Maybe I am taking it wrong? IDK, but as James put it in his pm to me "there is a lot of stuff in the background." Either way, it isn't the fault if the builder here and I was pointing that out. I understand James's frustration just as will as anyone.
I didn't notice this was in LPM's section.
well, it don't really matter how much money he spent, he was NOT treated fair, in a lot of people eyes
Again, I'm not trying to be a dick, but like the last post stated there was a lot if stuff going on in the background. I am not saying everything was perfect for either party by any stretch, but I do know that there are two sides to the story and I don't think you know enough about it to call out LPM here. I know more than most about it and I think it sucks for both sides.
Anyway, let's drop it cause its not our battle. I for one sure wish someone could talk James down off the ledge cause he's so close to having what he wanted! I tried, but failed. I will miss running with him at the events for sure. Just wish it didn't come to this. Agreed?

Not to happy when someone posts something in our forum without the facts.
First of all James only ran 10's once with his 426 motor. Second we sponsored and build him the most powerful NA Aluminum engine out there making 700hp to the wheels and it has over 30 passes in the 10's. We only built the motor we did not build the drive line, install the fuel system, suspension work, tuning, etc.

It sucks that James is quitting, No two ways about it.
I don't know any details, I just know that new builds can take a long time to get dialed in. I understand the frustration, and hope James changes his mind.
I always look forward to seeing that red 300 streaking down the track.
Ill miss both hanging out with James and watching him run at events.
