What's the quickest time out there on a stock SRT8?
One of my customers was trying to figure where his stock SRT8 stood compared to others stockers out there. I tried looking at the times database and wasn't sure how to interpret what "stock" meant. I was told that a CMR tune disqualifies a car as stock.
In any event,his car is the 2006 300c I drove to VMP. It's completely stock including original tires and original exhaust with the exception of a set of DGS grounding cables and a LMI CAI (and of course a CMR tune).

In decent DA, he should be 1.9-2.2 60', 12.80-13.2 ET at about 108ish mph.

If your talking bone stock Mike I saw CT-MSRT (Mike) run 12.80's. I've read a guy from Pennsy named Brent went 12.5 stock one cold day @ Atco, There's a video of it. Bone stock is just that - As you took delivery from the factory.

CT-MSRT has the LX 6.1 "Factory" football with a 12.83@108.
10.29@132 Aluminum 468 in '05 Magnum R/T

Mike, I must say that was a helluva run you had at VMP. You didn't even have any negative DA to assist or weight reduction!

yup. the first 2 weekends i owned my car i went to Atco with Slideway and he showed me the way. I ended up with a solid motor and some great air. Originally Posted by novawagonmaster

That's what I was told. What makes it "Super Stock" vs "Stock"? The CMR tune or the CAI or both? The car is as it was taken off the showroom floor (including the tires - car only has 5,000 miles on it). It went 12.72 at VMP Originally Posted by slideway

Both. Put the factory tune back in and the stock airbox.
