If you are located in the Western Pa., Eastern Ohio or Northern West Virginia area you should try to make it out to these events. Advertised as "Street Racing without the jail time" this event is an absolute blast to compete in! There are no clocks, just a cute girl to start you with a deer spotting light and lights at the end of the 1/8th to indicate who won.

It's basically grudge racing with hundreds cars competing. There is a final event for the 8 fastest domestics, 8 fastest imports and the 8 fastest "street contenders". The street contender class is designed to allow the more "streetable" domestics to compete (since the top 8 domestics are usually cars that run in the 8 to 9 second range in street trim).

Half of the events take place on an airport runway and the remainder are held at an 1/8 mile "country" dragstrip or a local road race course.

Cars competing must be fully streetable, full exhaust, DOT tires, be registered, insured and driven into the event (no trailers).
