I spoke with Chris(Hemi~C) and got the OK to take this over and keep it up to date. I'm going to limit this to 11 second and faster 5.7's. I do expect the N/A 5.7's to be knocking on the 10 second door this year so we will see......
I plan on maintaining 2 tables. One for the 5.7 N/A and one for the 5.7 Power Adders. I will also keep "Historic tables" for reference. The idea here is to separate the cars currently running vs. those that may be down for the year.
The tables are "sortable" by table heading so if you want to see the highest MPH just click on MPH and the table will sort by that column. Want to know the quickest 60' click on that heading and the table will sort by 60'. You get the idea.....
Please, please READ THIS!!!!!!
If you want your name in the table please send your information in the following format:
ET|MPH|60' time|Username|Weight|DA|Race Track|MM/DD/YYYY|Fuel|Tuner
DA=Density Altitude. If you don't have a weather station it can be found here:
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php
For example:
11.782|114.18|1.597|Novawagonmaster|4200|1200|Thom pson Raceway|11/7/2010|93 Oct|Hemituner
to mike@ostdyno.com
You will also need to include a post in the thread (not this thread) of your timeslip for me to add it to the table.
Here is the link to the new Official Fastest 5.7 Thread: http://www.lxforums.com/board/showth...64#post3489264
I am open for suggestions for improvements just keep in mind that I don't want this to become a maintenance nightmare...

very cool Mike... I like the table sorting function... what did you use to get that to work?

MattRobertson directed me to a post he made with a "Table" and I just looked at the format and copied what he did. So I have the spreadsheets built on my laptop, then save them as .csv files. I just open the csv, replace all "," with "|" and then edit my thread and copy the data in the the post between my "Table tags".
Nicely done Mike.
I plan on keeping you and Stell both busy this year!![]()

Ok, thanks for the info. I've heard about the football!
I do agree that this year is going to be a "merry-go-round" for the 5.7 cars. Which is why I wanted it in a spreadsheet otherwise it would be a maintenance nightmare!
If the 6.1 folks want something like this I'd be glad to set it up. Most of my 6.1 customers are basically stock, mildly modified or stock with a ProCharger. On the other hand some of my N/A 5.7 customers will be "taunting" the 6.1 folks![]()
FINALLY! Something I can use filters on!
Sure wish the timeslip database had this feature.![]()

I am receiving emails stating "I ran this ET at this MPH on this date".
Please understand, for this to work, and for me to be able to keep it current, you must follow the instructions above and:
1. Format the data as shown
2. Post an image of your timeslip in the "Fastest 5.7" Thread (not this thread).

If people can't post race weight and Density Altitude at run time it's all meaningless. But go right ahead and keep on keeping on. This is what LXF has become. The racing equivalent to whose got dah 26's. Also why are you breaking this down by year? Continuing... Can I also make a mathematical equation of what I'd run if I strip my Daily Driver to a shell (certain known Weight) on a -1100 DA day and get a theoretical mention?
Brian - keep in mind this is a continuation of Hemc~C~'s thread. And Mike is just starting it back upChris didn't require DA and race weight. So, Mike including it is a very nice way to give you perspective on your car.
I don't see an issue on breaking it up by year. It keeps current runs vs old runs.
Good job, Mike!!!
