So I finally decided to plastidip by trunk badges last night, it was a nice warm day so I figured why not, this stuff is very easy to work with and here are the results:

Looks good! Did you remove the badges or just do them while on the car?

You don't have to remove the badges when using plastidip, you can leave them on your car, that's the great thing about this stuff is that it will simply peel right off the paint and only stay on the letters, super simple to use and the good thing is that you can always go back to the chrome if you don't like it for some reason, simply peel it right off...
Oh so you didn't even tape off the rest of the car? May have to do this, subtle but looks great!
what time of plati dip due you use to keep the badges on the spray or paint. Im afraid to take my emblems off and put them back crooked

Yup RIcharger11, that's exactly how I did mine :-)...and for anyone looking to get the plastidip, you can easily buy the flat black can at any Home Depot, Menards, ACE hardware, etc...
