I have an unusual request. A local speed shop contacted me for a cam recommendation for an 08 SRT8 Jeep. This is a basically stock vehicle (CAI and CAT back). The customer wants the cam to make his Jeep "sound" like it has a high lift/duration cam.
Can anyone make a recommendation on a cam?

Inertia srt max rumbler or hell.
Basically 218/223 srt max on a 111 lsa
I believe its a drop in cam with proper tuning.

True. Not many cams are gonna sound wicked without also changing the springs to be safe.

Yeah the SRT Max cam at a 112 lsa will sound lopey and make power from mid to high rpm... Also like said above FRI Lil boy cam at 114 lsa and that cam make power from low to mid rpm and works well on the Jeep. Both these cams do not require a springs changed out. Lope does not usually mean the car will make more power in this case with these 2 cams..... There is also the PWR-216 came or the 586 Arrington cam as wll that do not require springs. A guy on the Red site is running the Arrrington cam and it seems to work well on the jeep as well...
