Like you Bryan, I've been considering some sort of forced air system, with turbos being my preferred. However, all of the readily available systems use an under-mount location and for all the snow/slushless locales like LA, Miami, Scottsdale, and the like, that is fine. But one has to wonder how long a turbo, or turbos, would last with a whole bunch of semi-solid water, pebbles, sand, etc., bouncing up against them, would last. Plus the sudden application of cold an dwet against extremely high temperatures at the housing.

I'm thinking that the new Edelbrock blower might be an option, except that as of its initial release it isn't available for our Jeeps.

You should check out Stage6 then. They offer an engine compartment turbo option.

I'd start off with forged internals, but I'm a little old school. Then boost the sucka.... I don't understand why people boost there ride with 6-7lbs.... Seems like a waste to me. That bein said... I love the KB unit, just not the fab work it involves. The magna is a nice OEM looking unit and drives great, and a turbo... Well turbos are what the big boys use these days. WOuld totally rock a stage 6 system.

    Stock catback, and stock drivetrain

Most of the turbo system I hear of and see on our jeeps are mounted in the rear or under side of the jeep which to me seems you would be waisting horse power being that far from the manifold and alot of fab where ever you have them mounted, but I would do it if I had the $. The S/C do look bad azz sitting on top.

The Edlebrock constant volume unit looks so clean.

I say throw on a load of nitrous until she blows then build it right.

Last year at SEMA I saw a 3 stage nitrous manifold capable of 1,500 HP, put that in your blower and smoke it!
