These are good pistons. I've bought a set and you can't beat the price.
I assure you the habit of modding only gets worse! I know how people on drugs feel. I'm afraid I will start pawning sh*t if I don't get control of myself!

How big of a cam can you go using these pistons?
PPP stage 2 Heads, Super Spartan Max Cam, Inertia Ported/Coated Intake, Zoomer's, Kooks, no cat's, Jet 180 t-stat, BT catch can.
435rwhp/413rwtq..mustang dyno
More to come
bigger then the srt max cam,. which is about the biggest without the use of valve reliefs,
other then the pistons to go with a bigger cam you need to swap the springs to something that can handle more lift/compression. but since you have to remove the heads anyways to install these pistons thats not a big deal.
My springs are already upgraded. I love my cam, but I would love to go bigger!
Would these allow for say 10-15lbs boost safely?! Would the rods handle it?!
J
That's a question for dave an MM. However I think u might be at the threshold as on a stock bottum end it will handle about 9. Where the weakest point in the piston . So u might get away with that. However u would have to think about longevity. With the rod crank and pistons take it probably but your other components etc most likely won't. Ie main bolts and stuff like that . However I dunno if its possible but maybe talk to dave to see if the mains can be swapped to arps. Without additional work. That way it might handle even more.
