6.1 plenum gasket - Help that catch can reduce oiling

Anyone that has had a plenum cover off the bottom of a 6.1 intake knows that the sealing capability of the stock gasket and sealing area is suspect. We are offering a .060 rubberized coated gasket to eliminate any oil that maybe leaking over from the PCV section of the plenum.
This is also something to consider for the high boost guys who could be pushing psi the other way and increasing crank case pressure plus bleeding boost. Either way it is a inexpensive upgrade to do.

Gaskets will be $34.95+SH (price can come down for QTY purchase)

Give us a call. Won't find on website just yet.

    Thanks Dave 276-666-1934

I haven't noticed any real evidence of this during my dis assemblies but I have always considered it suspect myself for the boosted apps and certainly would feel much more comfortable with something other than a steel shim gasket in there.

    Any pics?

    Pics will come

I agree it is not on all but some. I see more new intakes than I do anyhting else and some of these new intakes have a terrible mating surface. till now we have been coating the plenum gaskets with copper coat to help prevent leakage. It is one of those preventive medicine things. Drink a little OJ before you get the cold.

The added .045 plenum volume is directionally correct but I am sure not measurable on a dyno. Sort of like the bolts you drill out on the front of the race car. Every little bit helps
