I dont want to name any names, but we had a 5.7 customer swap to our heads and cam along with an eagle intake and below are the before/after results.

Ok.
Well, the Mayans and other Soothsayers were right, the end has begun.
Common sense is so rare it should be considered a superpower
Numbers seemed real low before. Look good at 380. Were they swapped for eagle heads too?
High Comp 392.
Okay... There's a bump in HP and TQ, but pretty meaningless without details.

the customer had a competitors heads and cam along with an eagle intake manifold.
Now he has PWR 5.7 ported heads, PWR cam, and the same eagle intake manifold.
It was the same tuner for both builds.
Was your cam and head specks comparable to the competitors you took out?

Bummer. Would have been pretty interesting if you would have keep the intake consistent.
The intake manifold is the same in both builds.
The only difference is the heads and cam.
The competitors heads are listed as their ported heads and the cam had zero specs written on it.
I heard what kinda cam is in there. Should post the info up and let people make their own asumptions.
Sooo are they the same lift cam, same stage heads? This isn't much of a comparison other than they were both 5.7's
Just lurking. Hemi Registry #1050
You don't really compare cams to each other at the same specs. Obviously, the same specs make the same power. There's a lot more to a cam than it's peak lift and duration numbers. What you'd want to compare is cams that are designed for the same thing. Both cams are marketed as mild cams. Neither shakes the car, both cruise like a camry, neither kills gas mileage. They both were designed for the same purpose. The first setup didn't do what was expected. The PWR setup did what it was supposed to and then a little more. More power with zero loss in street manners = superior cam.

So you put a stage 1 entry cam to a stage 3 in the same league?
What does something like this cost I am interested in getting some more power, also what type of tuning do I need too do. New too these cars
