    Question PW-240 Cam?

Anyone currently using (or has used) this cam on their 426? Looking to upgrade to this cam for my recent JGC SRT8 N/A 426 build and wanted some feedback. Specs and link to the website are as follows:

    240/252 606/606 115
Extreme Race applications. For those wanting the most from their 426 or larger motors.

    Recomended ICL
    7.0: 110
    7.2: 110

    Very aggressive idle.

    http://www.pwrparts.com/PW-240-PW4052.htm

Goal is for a cam w/more pull up top, and still maintain some sense of daily driveability.

I'm running a similar cam. Mine is a little bigger and is designed for nitrous. It made 529rwhp and drives okay on the street. With that cam being a little smaller streetability should be fine.
    06 MSRT8 Mods: PWR 393 with Procharger F1A.
    Installed by AfterHours Mopar Peformance.

    RIP Lou

Holly $hit...that sounds nasty. That's the cam i have going in my stroker as we speak, however I doubt withe the Corsa exhaust that it will sound anything like that.

    Personal Best: coming soon!!

Your cam sounds great man. I've been searching for a clip of that cam so thanks for posting. I'm getting the same cam with my 419, can't wait!

Thanks for all the feedback! Still working out some tuning issues, but real confident that all the bugs will be gone shortly...

Keep in mind that clip was taken with the cutouts open. I'm also running the Corsa exhaust with 1 3/4" headers. With the cutouts closed, this is what it sounds like:

It's an entirely different animal with that cam. I had the PWR fR-1 cam installed with the 426, and the PW-240 cam is much more aggressive.

    I love it!

I hope like hell mine has that very same sound when it is all done. My neighbors already hate me. Every morning 6:30am, that sounds echos through the houses.......

    SWEEEEEEET

Sounds echo and the walls shake with this cam. At first my wife was livid... but then she remembered that our bedroom sits directly above the garage.
