    Supercharger with shaker hood

I own a 2006 Dodge Charger with older model of shaker hood (http://www.autofxtacoma.com/products.php?id=8).
Can supercharger or turbo fit with shaker hood on my car?
If yes, what brand have you tested to work in my car with my that older shaker hood?
Do you have any instruction on how to put them together?

    Thanks

Hi Wilson! I'm still getting caught up on emails/PMs/work in general after being on the road the last few weeks- I apologize for the delay. Unfortunately there is not a supercharger system that will be a true bolt-on with regard to it working w/ the Shaker system. Any supercharger system, either centrifugal or roots/twin screw-style, will require modification of the Shaker system to both fit and be functional. It would probably be easier to use a turbo (single or twin), as most of those are located further from the motor, and would not require as much (if any) modification) to the Shaker system. I hope this helps! Please feel free to email me directly if there is anything else I can assist with: pl@classicdesignconcepts.com. Thanks again!

Tim Barth at Mr. Norms just fabricated a CDC Shaker install on my 08 Charger srt. with a Vortech V3 head unit. One of a kind as far as I know. It looks factory. Super job!!

I said a Vortech, that looks like a pro charger to me. No after cooler to contend with. It looks really great, though!!! I was just wondering if it wouldn't get more air in the stock location, rather than from that box that the cai is in?

How's this set-up in the rain? Or is this a fair weather ride only?

Our Shaker systems all have a built-in water management system so you can drive it in the rain or wash it with no issues! After all, we're based in Michigan and know all about changes in the weather!

    Hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks,
    Reon
