Great time at the track yesterday. I wish I had more time to stop and chat with all of you, and get to meet some people, but it seems that every time I pulled into the staging lanes, they were moving up and I was getting ready to make another pass!! (Not that that is a bad thing <lol>)
All-in-all, I got there at 10:30 AM, and left at about 3. I made 14 passes. I gotta say that the car is deadly consistent. When I got there, I was coming off a 1-hour drive from Parma, so the engine was heat-soaked and holding steady at about 180. Given the amount of passes and moving up in the staging lanes, I stayed pretty much at 180 degrees all day. The car made 14 passes, all between 13.15 and 13.25. Would make for a great bracket car!!
My best of the day was 13.14 at 104.0 mph. I have read on the forums that for a stock car, the elusive number is a sub-two-second 60-foot time. Mine on that run was 2.0003…..grrrrr…….
I tried all kinds of different things:
· Keep it in drive
· Shift it myself with Autostick
· Launch in 1st, and let the computer upshift itself
· Launch at 1500, 2000, and 2500 RPM
· ESP on, ESP pressed, ESP completely disabled (hold down ESP button for 10 seconds)
Whatever combination I tried, the car didn’t seem to get any faster or slower. Like I said, 14 runs all within 0.10 seconds of each other. I did not try any “tricks” such as icing down the intake or even lowering tire pressure. I kept tire pressure right at 35psi. I drove it there, ran it, and drove it home.
Novawagonmaster: Yes, that was me you ran against on my first run. Talk about intimidating…..my first run in the car and I gotta run against your 11.33 beast!
I got some videos up on Youtube. I got like 3 of me, then I got one video of a Torred Charger (plate something like “07 DC RT”), and one of a Sublime Charger (plate “SLIMER”). Search on Youtube for “2011 RDP MOTORSPORT TRACK DAY”
Had a blast! Wish I coulda met some of you.
Those cars (TorRed Charger and Sublime Charger) belong to Tagman and Sublime130.

Good to know it was fun guys. I would concur that coming in here and crapping on a thread by a dude that's just trying to allow everyone to race isn't the coolest. I'll give props to RDP for hosting the event. Good luck to all and let's try and keep it civil.
