I basically use my charger for patrol duties and drive my car hard so I want a coilover kit that will be able to handle the abuse. Or...should I just go with springs and heavy duty shocks? Right now, I have hotchkis springs and koni str.t shocks with stack performance sways and bwoody endlinks, but right now I bottom out when going over bumps and some driveways.![]()

Are you bottoming out becuase you're too low or because the shocks are to soft? Is the car physically touching the gorund or are you hitting the bumpstops on the shocks?

When the front goes over a bump, it feels like it is hitting metal below my feet and when I finish going the bump with the rear end, it is definitely hitting the bump stop. Prior to my suspension upgrades, I took measurements of the height using the top of the wheel opening for reference. The front wheel well was 30 1/2" and the rear was 31 1/2". Today the measurements are 28 3/8" front and rear. Seems like too much, right? I was thinking of using the Mopar springs but I heard differing opinions of the height not being lowered an inch. I'm thinking that with the coilovers I can actually raise or lower it to what ever I want for my needs.
I love my BCRacing coilovers!
Hmm, well if you need something stiffer than what you have now, a set of the BC Racing coilovers may do the trick.
You can control stiffness via damping knobs and you can also set your height where you need it for the roads you're driving on.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want some more info![]()
Thanks for all your help...now I know where to go for my suspension needs. Once I figure out and fix my knocking noise when I turn my steering wheel, I will get me a set of BCs.
No problem![]()
