Thats also a great way to have every cop in van pull you over. You harrass them, theyre gonna harrass you. I may have learned this lesson the hard way out in Richmond....When I was younger.

As for removing the tint glue, try lighter fluid. It works really well.

I live in Florida. Had the front window tinted. Long story short after ticket number 9 for $116.00 I gave in and took it off. They won that round. Their pockets are much deeper. FYI all 9 tickets in 3 months. There was a police shoot and killed, they blamed it on not being able to see into the car that the killer was driving. Thus they went ticket crazy.
( no state inspection, but there is a law.)

wow thats BS.. im a Cop in MD.. i never mess with ppl for tint. yes when u approach a tinted out car your very nervous.. and i tell ppl to roll down all windows on the stop so i can see..

but ive never heard of making anyone take it off on the spot.. in MD u can write a repair or fix it ticket they have 15 days to fix it and have the ticket signed off on

Thats why I have a picture of the car before tint that I take with me lol

With this attitude you are liable to get your car pulled off the road and on the hook for being unsafe to drive because of reduced vision, and/or receive a Box-1 vehicle Inspection notice (which is around $120.00........failure to comply with that is a $600.00 fine.......)..........All the cop has to do is call in the Vehicle inspection officers to make your day get worse.............

There are certain Mods we do to our cars that we know are illegal,or push the limits..........when caught we just have to suck it up.........

Erik.... the last thing you do when an officer pulls you over is to explain the law to him! it is up to the officers discretion with the 24 hour.....if you give any lip then you will find your car in the impound and the bill will be even more.....

for the people who has not heard the new DOT rules and regs just came out and the local Traffic police are have a field day with it....so good luck.
