Champion coppers are the stock plug.. work well. I never found any difference with NGK's.

It's an easy job, takes maybe an hour and a six pack of beer... just rememeber these Hemis have 16 plugs.

There have been (ahem) a "few" threads on plugs. Check out http://www.lxforums.com/board/f88/sp...-5-7l-*-23870/ which has ELEVEN pages of wisdom and comments. If you are at all mechanically inclined, plug replacement is a good place to start working on your ride, if you haven't already done so. Just make sure you have the correct tools (most are standard, and not very expensive). Many seem to feel that standard copper do well, but check out the best heat range for your tune.

I did some reading on the Pulstar plugs and the idea seemed to make sense since they are suppose to be a more consistant/stronger spark. and at around $13 a plug it may be worth it if they work that well.

I went with the 2314 one step colder and then have been great. Good luck on your choice. Another thing to consider the copper plugs are only good for 30,000 where these are good for 160,000 if memory serves me.

NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs represent the ultimate evolution of spark plug technology and performance. Iridium is significantly stronger than any metal used in spark plugs today. Its also the hardest metal used, which allowed NGK engineers to design an ultra fine center electrode; reducing the voltage requirement for Spark.

The design of the ultra-fine center electrode is designed not too thin to ensure maximum durability and life of the spark plug, and not too thick for an accurate and consistent spark. Iridium IX delivers the performance and durability to meet the demands and expectations of those who expect nothing but the best.
