Can-c on the other hand rpm is broadcast every 10mS, on a timer tick so its always there.
Can-c diagnostic (ie datalogging via a tool be it diablo, dashhawk, etc) is more accurate than can-b but its a poll response communication, so there is inherent slop in timing there. Especially if you are datalogging multiple pids.
This is why I added the peak rpm function to the Tranzformer, since its so hard to dial in those shifts accurately given the slop in visual on the cluster, and datalogging is a pain. With rpm being read every 10ms, and the microcontroller reading out the peak, you know spot on what rpm it shifted at.

Jeff, I think you need to get your car scaled to setup the weight correctly, you've stripped it down so much it'd be interesting to know the weights on all four corners. I did it to mine and found that I'm actually 4200 lbs, all the safety gear and cage, plus cemented block has mine heavy but pretty well balanced. In your case who knows. I will say that launching in first and having the 4:10 gears has given me the best 60's here on west coast, I'm sure I'd be close to the east coast boys if I launched there, I can say this as I've seen the type of track prep they get at ATCO, 100x better then out here.
Only other comment is on shift, she's definitely more snappy then when I ran the mopar tcm, car jumps forward on N/A calibration....we only did two good runs on the nitrous so that needs dialed in, but In russ/troy we trust.....

Its a shame to work so hard for more power just to soften launches. You may need to work harder on chassis instead.
