Just how much firmer than the diablo will these make the tranny shift? How long does the tcm need to learn? Who's got them the cheapest? I'm looking into halo's but I think I want the car to chirp second instead.
I’ll tell you one thing. There’s nothing like building up an old automobile from scratch and wiping out one of these Detroit machines. That’ll give you a set of emotions that’ll stay with you. Know what I mean? Those satisfactions are permanent.

firmer than Diablo-especially downshifts. The adaptive procedure takes like 15min..no biggie. moparsupercenter.com is probably cheapest.
Forget the halos.
If you really want tire chirping and hard shifts you may want to bypass both and install some blue tops (about $400) or a Builder Bill valve body ($600), those will kick your rear! The MTCM is more than firmer shifts. I liken it to a CMR tune on your car. The blue tops or valve body are like adding a cam(blue tops) or heads/cam (valve body)..they are a hardware upgrade while the MTCM is a software improvement for what you already have. Diablo firmer shifts is just a teeny tiny upgrade.

I got mine from ALLUSA Motorsports, not only did they have a good price, but their customer service is second to none.
The MTCM locks up the torque converter sooner and was the best mod for the money i did after the predator. I chirp second nasty now with Nitto 255's

x3 on the MPTCM. It does all the above and more. It will hold a gear until you hit the rev limiter, auto shifts up or down fast. Down shifts when in D like right now.
Blue tops take it to the next level as mentioned. My Blue Tops didn't pass the wife test but I like em LOL
Also consider a set of Challenger 2010, SRT, 6 Speed engine mounts. They aid in the gear chirp department by firmly holding the engine. With a cam the car has a nice hot rod shake at idle too.
Even in the 100*F heat we have in Alabama with the three above mods my little ol 5.7 chips second. Can't wait for 60 degree day and see what it will do!!!

I seen the mount kit from Bmc. I was thinking of using a ratchet strap to hold the l/s of the motor down. I used to do it on my grand nationals. With the strap alone made those cars hit 2nd and third harder. It may work with the chargers.
Some people said that the mtcm didn't make any difference aside from the auto stick mode.
