    MP TCM or SHR SIP?

Which one would be better in an 06 MSRT? I have looked at posts on the SIP but I haven't seen a lot on the TCM. I know the TCM is the easiest to do however I have read good things about the SIP but then I have to get it installed. Any SRT's have the TCM? Thanks, Bill

The SHR valvebody won't do anything to help converter lockup.Wonder how that valvebody would feel on the MTCM?

Are you having issues with T/C lockup? Our valve body mod will help in a round about way... Increased line pressure affects T/C lockup as well. Honestly we have not seen any issues with T/C lockup.

Eddie, I don't think it's an issue of it locking up, so much as when the MTCM tells it to lock up vs. the stock TCM.

Ive been told that with the increased line pressures of the new Valve bodys that the convertors need to be designed for it, IOW the convertors weve been buying wont stall as high as they were designed to because of the increased line pressures. my 2800 only stalls to 2k now that I got the VB/and HiTQ NAG1,
Ive got a 1 off being built this week to bring me back to 3k.

I have had the chance to try both the Mopar TCM and the SHR valve body mods.

The Mopar TCM does command the converter to lockup earlier than the stock TCM no doubt. Shift firmness seems to be better as well. A very good mod for the price and it does seem to improve on ET at the track.

The SHR valve body mod allows for very firm, quick and clean shifts. Daily driving is still friendly with a noticable aggresive shift pattern but not over the top. This mod seems to improve ET at the track as well and I have noticed it cleans up the shifts even when hitting it with alot of HP. The Mopar TCM wasnt able to do that as much.

Exactly.I am not doubting the VB Eddie........believe me I want either yours or Bills as soon as I can afford it.......but I don't see it locking the converter up as early as the MTCM does.

Not sure....I would think so......but the shifts might be pretty harsh at that point for a DD.
