Make sure you didn't accidently break any of the wires on the TCM connections. That's exactly what happened to me when I broke some wires on my tranny connector.

    What year is your car?

I believe the MTCM only works on the 05-06 cars.

I'm assuming you changed the gear ratio via a predator? Why though, SRTs ahave 3.06's from the factory and the PCM is setup for that ratio, so why change it?

Was the MTCM plugged in at the time you the predator(if you used it)?

Gotcha... for some reason I thought that they could be used in a 6.1 as well.

Well as long as the MTCM wasn't plugged in when you flashed your car with the Predator then you could probably sell it if it is not meant to work with SRTs. Otherwise from what I've read it's just a paperweight now.

Supposedly it can be used in SRT8's. Wonder if you bricked it with the predator. Maybe someone local can try it on their car to make sure it is just a glitch on your car, and the TCM is not damaged.

Even if you bricked it, the worst that would happen is it would act like the stock TCM. This sounds more like just a bad TCM from Mopar.

Not sure why we didn't think of that when I was there--we should have tried it in my car. If you're planning to make it to the track this coming weds let me know, we can try it then if you like.

Since I have changed rear ends I have not had my MTCM hooked up, just changed the gear ratio in the stock TCM to 3.07.

Has anyone else run into a problem with this, do you just modify the tune and change the gear ratio or do it in QA

A few thing to add here..

    1) I recently erased my MTCM and left it in there and my car would go into limp mode while driving around for on reason.. and the car just acted up overall.. WhenI replaced the MTCM with a new one it fixed everything the car was doing.

    2) if u have a gear change then all u need to do is plug the MTCM in and change the gears under the quick adjust menu.

So every time you modify something in your tune A/F or timing..... you redo the gear ratio in QA ?
