MadCharger is the man, SRT Dif for me!

So I went up to Huntersville today to help MadCharger swap out rear ends in his R/T Charger.

It's a sick car, he's dropped a 6.1 w/ head and cam and so much more.

Nick had a SRT rear end (3.06 gears), SRT driveshaft and 09 axles and hubs.

By the time I got up to H-ville Nick had the old set up out and the new one almost in. We put the drive shaft in, and put the exhaust on, and took that LX out for a test run.

HOLY CRAP, that car is a runner.

It's got mad power and really pushes hard as hell.

The swap went really well. No problems at all.

Nick put in a Getrag unit, really nice set up.

He swapped them out b/c his SRT rear had a whine when not under load, which is most likely the half shaft seals need to be replaced.

So MadCharger offered me the SRT rear and driveshaft.

I just need to get some SRT half shafts, and replace the seals.

3.06 gears will really help me out. I'm so stoked!!!

It didn't really have time to think about how generous this was, until the ride home.

It's huge, and I'm really excited to get this set up completed.

Nick is the sh!t, bean the hell out of him.

Thanks for the props Burleson - and thanks for the help. Getting that driveshaft and exhaust back on by myself would've been a nightmare (I know this from the last time I had to do it by myself!). So as far as I'm concerned, you earned those parts

The '09 axles and hubs are set aside for Charger4Life, since he'll be helping with the next big mod. Check to see if he has sold the SRT axles yet, as he'll have them coming off his car soon.....

Yep,
I hit Jason up and I've called dibs on his axles.

I'm gonna get the seals ordered tomorrow, and a bottle of RP dif oil.

I'm sure it's gonna make a huge difference in my 5.7
