    Question How Stong is the SRT rear Diff? for 06??

    Im just wondering how strong our Diff is? How much power can it handle? I havent heard of many people blowin them up. Sorry for all the questions just wondering about this stuff

    Haven't heard anybody toast a factory diff yet... lotsa axles, but no diffs.

    I think Jaak killed a stock SRT diff. You might want to PM him about what happened.

    And I know Fnky's changed out one that exploded internally, on an SRT8.

    HP? I would estimate my car's around 470 something at the crank.

    Unless your car weighs 3500# or less, I would think you are puting about 470 HP to the ground when you run in the 11s.

    My 12.19 @ 112+ computes out to 450 RWHP @ my race weight. (568 HP @ the crank)

    I would guess that when you make an 11 seconfdpass @ 4000+ #s that is nearly 575 HP @ the crank.

    Your corrected dyno HP might not be that high when DA is factored in but it's a heck of a lot more than 470 HP @ the crank. IMO
