    Did I fry my MTCM?

    Guys, I have read up on the Diablo not functioning with the Mopar TCM. I installed the TCM and it woke her up doing the adaptive process, I was checking engine codes haven't loaded any other tunes or changed any settings. The next day I took her for a drive and just seemed back to stock again. Any ideas or does it take a few weeks for the TCM to learn?

    checking codes is fine,

    does it auto upshift in autostick?
    is your converter locked in 2-5?

    If you didn't make any adjustments to the tune you should be fine.

    As long as you don't make any Tranny adjustments in Modify Tune you are OK

    you can only do that in the tune...so sounds like he's okay.

    Remember, the learn process is a safety learn suggested for any tcm, including stock ones. The TCM then goes through an adaptives save process each 10 minutes.

    Really? I won't flash ANY tune with my Mtcm in...for the 2 minutes it takes to swap, not worth it for me.

    My understanding is that you can use the Quick Adjust features and not kill the MTCM.

    But... I'm over-paranoid... I always swap over to the OEM TCM before i plug in the Diablo for anything.

    Autostick the car for a couple days of hard driving and you will know if the MTCM is still there.

    does the tcm have to be plugged up to use the diablo? ie. unplug the mtcm and plug into the stock tcm?

    As long as you used the quick adjust menu you are fine. I've quick adjusted mine several times and it's fine. When you write a tune to the car with the MTCM installed is when you write it back to stock.
