    Question Any wright up for halfshaft install??

    Hey guys, I need to replace my Halfshafts with my new 09 R/T ones. Dose anyone have a wright up. I only found the one on swaping the 6.1 rear into a 5.7 Any help would be great. Thanks guys

    Yes! Hemi31(Eric) Did an awesome h.shaft repair thread! Also good for replacement of carrier/axles for up grade. Very detailed and instructive! I made 2 copies for myself
    Eric's write up is in the knowlage base under wheels/suspension.
    Also INFERAL sent in pics of his 226 rear end swap in, lot's of good info there too!

    Just a heads up, other than that the proceedure would be the same.




    426 RWHP/460 RWTQ on motor, 555 RWHP on a 150 shot of juice
    12.062 @ 113.97 on motor, 11.306 @ 121.87 on a 125 HP shot
    Stock 5.7 rotating assembly, still MDS enabled

    yes it does.....since you have to replace the hubs with aftermarket shafts.But then you would have seen that if you read it.

    Ok my questoin is this: Since im doing the 09 shafts, I can skip the part were it says lower the Diff right. There is no need for me to need to mess with that right?

    Lowering the diff is the correct way to swap the axles......so no.You can take all the links off the knuckle if you want but I promise you it will take longer.

    O wow. that makes me fill much better. is that 2 hr. first time doing it lol or 6th time lol, Im just hopeing that the passenger side isent jamed in there.
