No problem :D
You guys made it an easy choice!
I wussed out at the last moment and switched out from a 3500 stall to a 3200 stall.. I realize that the 3500 might have been too much for a stock motor/stock tune.
Power comes in right around 3k anyways, so the 3200 is a pretty good place to start. If I want more, I'll just step up to the 3500 later on, but for now 3200 is a perfect choice.
Anyone interested in FTI torque converters should look up their videos on Youtube or Google them, they make awesome torque converters and made a believer out of me with their following/fans![]()
You won't be disappointed in your choice. Thanks again!
Another good thing about the FTI... They offer a free re-stall in the first year.![]()

No problem. I been looking for the next Brenspeed lol ( A company I been working with for 4 years on my 08 Mustang build)
?! Seriously??
Noice.. I hope the 3200 is great, but a 3600 or a 3800 Hard hit converter would be even greater lol (if driveability isn't compromised!)
Your converter will be completed and shipped on Tuesday.
Alas..............still no one has bought a 3500 stall and regretted it???????????????????

You're gonna run the blue tops and MTCM in your Mopar11??
Not worried that the stock tune will screw with it??
How much torque do you have to have to reach your stall speed? Ive read it stalls diff from engine to engine..So if i bought a 3500 for my modded v6 what would it stall too?

?? It would have to do with your motor.. if it's high strung, like I am thinking most V-6's are, the higher stall might be better since you're making power up higher.
Also would depend on your mods, but generally I'd say a little higher than 5.7 should be okay.
Something like the 6.4 though, with so much meat at a low end speed I'd think 3000 or maybe 2800 would be plenty. Anymore and it's just wheel spin city without the right tires.
yeah but even with 3500+ on my car(heads/cam/longtubes) would it make it to the stall speed? or just stall around 3000. Hell id buy a 4000 if it wasnt too terrible on a v6
