    300c tranny leaking

    Anyone have any input would be appreciated, 2005 300c 16,000 miles tranny leaking!

    check the transmission cup plug. looks like an electrical connection. easy and inexpensive fix. that is most common.

    x2.......$12 part and a 20 minute fix.

    Use caution if you pull the connector housing when reinstalling. The center bolt for the connector housing is a very light torque. Barely finger tight and a bit more, if you strip the bolt receptacle you are in a world of hurt. It is an easy fix and some people find the Mercedes Orings a better fix.

    although we no longer replace just the O-rings, TSB 21-002-05A still applies and contains the service procedure.
    guide bushing P/N 68021352AA.

    Thanks everyone for your input, I replaced the oring and guide bushing on the 13 pin connector all is good now.
