I recently found out that in Colorado, only authorized vehicles can have a green light:

42-4-213. Audible and visual signals on emergency vehicles.

(4) Any authorized emergency vehicle, including those authorized by section 42-4-222, may be equipped with green flashing lights, mounted at sufficient height and having sufficient intensity to be visible at five hundred feet in all directions in normal daylight. Such lights may only be used at the single designated command post at any emergency location or incident and only when such command post is stationary. The single command post shall be designated by the on-scene incident commander in accordance with local or state government emergency plans. Any other use of a green light by a vehicle shall constitute a violation of this section.
(5) The use of either the audible or the visual signal equipment described in this section shall impose upon drivers of other vehicles the obligation to yield right-of-way and stop as prescribed in section 42-4-705.
(6) Any person who violates any provision of this section commits a class A traffic infraction.

A $15 penalty $100 penalty

So I just called to get my fine. The officer told me it was about 20 bux. We ll the freaking court wants NINETY FREAKING DOLLARS.

Anyway, I need some different LED halos for the Jeep.
I want something other than white, blue, red, green.
Anything besides that will tempt me. I was thinking purple or amber. or the amber/white.

Im not bitching about the ticket. I violated the statute I get a ticket. The officer was as nice as he could be. I was polite back to him. Soon I stopped both front windows down hands on wheel. I have a CCW and was carrying. So I was nervous as it was first time pulled over with a gun. asks me if i know why he pulled me over, we had passed them 2-3 blocks back just finishing a stop. everyone was going right about 40 the limit, so I say I know we werent speeding as we all just rolled by you. He says 'are you a firefighter heading to an emergency or anything like that'. No sir. 'Its a violation for you to display a green light then'. OK. License Reistration. Before I move my hands I tell him I am carrying a firearm. Do you have a CCW? Yes sir. Ok lets see all your paperwork. Ok Im going to need to reach into my back pocket for the wallet sir. Thank you for letting me know. Go ahead. Give him CCW, Drivers. Sir my other stuff is in the glove box. Where is your firearm. Small of the back holster sir. Ok get the other stuff. All the while the partner is standing about 2 feet from the paaenger window. As I go for the glove box, he says to the pass side 'he has a CCW'. Give him all the papers, goes to car for like 20 minutes, comes back. Everything is in order. Thanks for being polite and letting me know that you had a firearm. CCW is also valid. But he gives me ZERO point infraction.

And now the court wants 90 bux. Cop told me he thought it would be about 20. Maybe if I go down to court with lights removed they dismiss it. says due to CDL he made sure it was zero point violation.

So guys I rock your LED Halos so help a brother out and let me know what s possible.

I also need some fogs. I can never remember which LX you guys sold me in green but if possible Ill need all 6 rings!

Hey Rob. I hate hearing about stuff like this. I never would of thought green would of been illegal. Thats really odd. We have an order coming in at the end of this month but all we have on it is just white. I'm sure we could do an amber color if you wanted though.

About your ticket, maybe if you pay before your court date they wont charge you any extra fees, thats how it is down here anyway.

Edit- Steve just read this and said that we will go ahead and help you the best we can. He wanted to know if you have thought about running them to a switch instead? If not let me know.

Thanks Wes and Steve. I got a full set of white but was thinking about something a bit more adventerous but legal in CO. I do have them on a seperate switch but if they charged me 90 when the range is 15-100 the next one they will have me washing windows at city hall or something :lol:

I am in for ANY JEEP COLOR but white,green,red,blue. If you can hook me up with something for all 6 send me a PM and lets make it happen. If its something to order, let me know whats possible.
