New Look

Well I got my hood and wheels installed over the weekend. This looks totally different. This was such a pain. The hood was fine, and easy but the wheels was a different story. Well to begin we thought my grandfather had a floor jack, but remembered that my uncle took it after he past away, so we had to use a bottom jack to this, which wasnt to bad. Well I needed to buy new lug nuts, so I went out to get some lug nuts, well we went out and got some. well the guy gave us the totally wrong size, so that pissed us off, so we went out and exchanged them and also bought a set of cheap lockers for the time being till i get my guirella(sp?) lockers. Well we got the right lug nuts this time but the lockers fit, but couldnt get the key in there, so we had to go out and buy another set of lugs to go where the lockers were going to be. Well finally we got them installed. i then went and changed the oil. I started and grandpa didnt have a drain pan so I used a bucket instead, got done with everything and poured the old oil from the bucket to the 5 qt bottle, all the oill that came out wouldnt even fill the 5 qt. That pissed me off being when I took the car in last time when I was lazy and didnt feel like changin my oil, they only put around 5 qts of oil in the car(takes 7qts). Well enough with my lil rant, and on with the pics. I will have better pics later, these are just cell phone pics.

Looks good. Hate to hear about your trouble but it looks like it was worth it.

Ahhh, yeh!!!! Hood and shoes look good!!! Sucks about all the trouble you had to go thru! Can't believe your car was 2 qts. low! ;x

I ran into my friend who hasnt seen the car in about a month or so and I pulled up next to his SRT4 and the first thing he noticed was the hood. I love the fact when people stuff like this.
