Well Bill you are leading the way as usual. It would be interesting to see on some of these builds as some of us are stepping into uncharted waters... with the aluminum blocks and custom cam grinds.
    James,
Looking forward to custom building a converter for your specifications.
You see what i did for your buddy Big Al.

Oh and i have a NA 6.1 heads and cam Jeep flashing to 4500 and still drivable (barely creeps at idle, normal other than that....will creep on an LX at idle) on the street.

Please do note that a Jeep weighs 500+ lbs. more than the LX/LC and will flash higher at the same power level.

Ok...the stall is weight-torque based so an Aluminum built 450 in an LX should stall relatively high.
In a perfect world (like yours James) i would strive to build you a converter that would stall about 200 rpm higher than your torque peak....can you hook it up????
    bBill

So for this you just need any dyno sheets?? There is a local dyno i can go get some pulls on but not tuned. Im getting tuned on the 23rd but not with a dyno. What do i do buddy?

The new DOMINATOR Converter is AWESOME!!! I picked my car up from the shop where it was installed and drove it straight to the track (Infineon Raceway, California) about 50 miles away. The drive-ability was perfect! You can't tell the difference from a stock converter. At the track I was hitting consistent 1.6X 60' times, but was still working on my launch technique with the new converter. What I did notice was that I picked up 3 mph on the big end....WOW!!! My best run of the night was 11.50 @ 120 mph, 401DA.

Thanks Bill.... The DOMINATOR is the real deal!!!

Ok, here is the information I need to help me build a perfect converter for you:
    * Data log at least speed & rpm (with your Predator) on some runs, preferably at the track as I need to see your launches with NO tire spin.
If you can not hook up, let me know that also.
    * A dyno sheet is great as it will allow me to help get you into your torque curve. A Kenne Belle dyno sheet will tell me that the HUGE torque is reached at a very low rpm, where a built NA Hemi will typically not reach the maximum torque until way up in the rpm.

    Hope to help you out!

My dominator TC is going in tomorrow along with the flex plate and stage II valve body. I will test it out this weekend at the track and report back. I'm hoping for a new PB. Thanks Bill for the great service. I wonder how much difference there will be from what I have now, Edge 3200, and the new dominator TC?

edit: just found out that my driveshaft bolts are bent. Fortunately I just ordered the pink bolts yesterday, but they won't be here until friday. Oh well, I should still be able to make it to the track friday night.

Got my dominator installed this last week. Tested it out at the track tonight. It was very consistent on my all motor (n/a) runs, ran consistent 1.61 sixty foots. There was ZERO track prep and I was breaking the tires loose....can't wait to try it w/the nitrous on.

So will it still fry your tires? Lol I'm not much of a track person but id like one for more fun on the street. Also I would be adding a supercharger next year so how could I get this built..I was really considering the edge because I could get it cheaper and likely installed by fall as I feel I need to change my tranny fluid asap lol. This is on a v6

You need to have your car setup exactly how you plan to run it. If its setup for na it will not work optimlly when you susurcharge it. This is a custom converter.

^^Ditto. Bill needs dyno sheets and logs to MATCH the verter to your set-up.
