whether it be there or anywhere a lot of times some of these jokers out there need a swift ass-kicking to smarten them up a bit!
not saying his tactics are exactly right on the money but i bet he cleaned up the streets better than most uniforms did in that area?
once they get to fear you they get to respect you as bad as that sounds and if the trouble makers in that area knew he was doling out the business i'm sure many of them either moved on somewhere else or went underground with their business getting it off the streets and away from the public.
this is a coin toss case where maybe the bad actually served as the good!
i'm not a fan of bullies or people that go around beating up on drunks or misdemeaner cases, but the hard core cases need the right direction to get the best results from them sometimes.
punishment is best served by justice and not by vigilantes law abiding or not and as long as he keeps those two seperate maybe his streets will be a little less inviting to criminals and he will stay out of hot water.
