Need FOB infor...Camp Stone

Hey y'all. I will be heading out to the sandbox again within the next few months. I will be taking a small detachment of my guys to Camp Stone. Does anyone have any experience there? Last time I was at Stone, it was B-but and tent living.....no CHU's. Has anything changed?

prolly a b-hut or hard structure thats 2 per room. Seems to be the norm on most FOB's now. I've been an augmentee for DCMA during my deployment and have FOB hopped a few times. So ive done tents, bhuts and chu's. Hope it works out for you and its a nice FOB. I can count on my fingers how many days i have left...woot woot

I was at stone in Summer of 09. Stone was nice compared to being at pheonix. B huts were a lot nicer IMO. PX was tiny compared to pheonix but that didnt bother me any.

im at Phoenix right now. FOB stands for Forward operating base=where you live and work. Bhut i cant remember but its a building that people live in divided by plywood and whatever they can piece together for privacy. CHU stands for containerized housing unit, they take containers like they use for shipping good on the boats and make rooms out of them. I had the best time living in Bhuts, as long as your Bhut homies are cool and dont snore to loud.

Not bad, Left that province in Dec 2011, (now in HELMAND)chow has gotten better. BHUTS and Improved CHU's,Decent GYM,Cardio room-
Green Bean Coffee, Burger King, Small PX, Hadji shops x10..small PX
NO IDF (Rockets) .....mellow... good place to be in theatre......when your bored head north to ARENA (6klicks) espresso, pizza,Italian and Spanish Women...
