A friend of ours just finished a memorial truck for a local boy who gave his life along with two others in his unit.
Thank you

That's an excellent use of paint right there!!!! What an awesome thing to do! It is sad to hear of our men and women in uniform paying the ultimate price for our freedom, but I am thankful they are there on the front lines fighting to protect my way of life.
We are free 'cause they are brave!
Thank you for posting!

The paint he had before this tribute was just as awesome. He didn't know any of those young men personally but the Indianapolis boy was a nephew of a friend of his.
These are the before pics (sorry, camera phone)
This truck just took second place in "special interest" at 09 Slamology here in Indy (nearly 600 vehicles) and was only second to a Indy Car that Eric painted for someone. He also had a Motorcycle (Batman Bike) take "Best Paint" and either Tracy or myself received (he picked up our trophy since we left early and didn't hear the first name) "best Engine". It was a great weekend for Eric but the 2nd place with the truck seemed to please him the most. As a Vet it has a special spot in his heart
What a noble gesture.
Godspeed guys
