    Blackwater / ESI training schools?

    Hey guys,

I apologize for this not being actually Military related, but I just figured I would ask b/c im trying to gain as much info on this topic as I can

I know Blackwater is looked down upon lately for the accused actions they have have taken overseas but are they a Legit traning facility?

Anyone know anything about ESI in Colorado?

I have no previous military experience, or police service but Im thinking about going to one of these places to take the Special Ops course, with the goal of becoming a bodyguard / executive protective guard for people. im 6'6 and pretty intimidating as it is, I just figured this training might improve my chances

ESI rocks. They used to be accredited and you could get your Bachelors from there but things have changed. They have an excellent program and pretty good job placement. Ask for Jason if he still works there, he can hook you up. The training was great.. at least back in 98. I'm sure they've updated everything for the recent technological advancements. You can try for Black water but I think they are looking for someone with Military only. Good money.

Yes, US Training Center (formerly Blackwater USA) is a legit training facility. The courses I attended at the Moyock, NC center were second to none. However, I am not sure that they are training Civilians, only Military and LEO.
