    Resonator Removal

I know that several of you have had your resonators removed from the stock exhaust. What should I expect to pay to have this done. I checked two shops today. The first said that it would be about $90 but they wouldn't know for sure until they had it on the lift. The second place I checked said that "you have to bend pipes, and then we weld your tips back on, it's quite a bit of work, so that would run about $200." So, is $90 a decent price, or should I keep shopping around?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Magnum R/T . . . yes Kate, it does return the favor!

    Thanks,
Mine was done by a local shop that we have dealt with for a L O N G time. I paid just under $200 & got chrome tips put on. But we get pretty good deals on our exhaust work since we have a very long standing relationship with them. You could try looking into other shops too. Yes they had to bend the pipes on mine too. PMing you too.

    $30.

    That's what I paid.

They had to cut, weld, and bend. I had my stock R/T tips put back on (But the other ones would've only been 18 bucks a piece, had I wanted to go that route).

Shop around - small town shops are almost always gonna be better, imo.
