Just when I thought my job was exempt...

Garmin is laying off starting tomorrow. Instead of letting everyone know if they have a job tomorrow they are going to stretch it out throughout the week. I might be jobless come Friday. So I am going to be on edge rest of the week.....

Sucks ass man, I just sweated through ours a couple weeks ago. Good luck!!!!!!! Hopefully you make the cut. If not, I guess take some small comfort in knowing you're among MILLIONS who've gotten the shaft in the past few months. This is a scary time, that's for sure. Keep us posted!!!!!!!

I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you can keep your job. This new job cut thing that companies are doing now-a-days is a craptastic way to cut their budget. Maybe if they take paycuts from the higher ups, the people who actually make the companies run could keep their jobs.

Sucks more than words can explain. You see and witness all of this crap but when it hit home reality sets in. You say to yourself that you didn't think something like this could happen to you. Well it's obvious that very few of us are safe from this BS.

I agree, like for example we had a Winter dinner company wide this past January. I would see they spent well over a 200k on it. Food was horrible, entertainment was horrible, and the just being there was horrible. Spent all of that money on useless crap that nobody really cared for. Then they want to tell you to be okay and you will make it through this economic hardship. Ummmm WTF!!!!! You just told me that I might not have a job at the end of this week and you want me to be calm and at ease???? WTF!!!!! Pk Check your PM's

Here's to you making it another day!!

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?
