Hi everyone!!! Just wanted to say hi to you all, since I'm not around much right now. I'm working full time, still in school, and just passed a huge Exam that will help me get a better paying job. The past week, I've had 2 of my kids and my granddaughter. It's been real fun to have them here. HerDaytona's son was here too. That was cool. We all had a great week and enjoyed each other's company.

Yesterday, we went to KCIR for the "last ever" drag race day. It was free for everyone and we took all the kids out there to hang out & take video. I'll post up video when I have it done. It has to be edited and fixed up. We are still fighting Kansas City MO for our drag strip, but it was real nice to have a free day. OMG there were so many racers out there ...

Wow, you've got a lot on your plate. You remind me of my sister, always going to school working two jobs, etc. Congrats on your test and condolences on the track. I was really hoping to race there at some point. Looks like Tulsa Raceway Park is on it's last leg as well. It was bought by a rock quarry, but they are leasing it out as a track for a least 3 more years. Good luck on your career, but I don't understand why you don't just quit your job and hang out with the occupy stupidity people . What an idea, work hard, go to school, hmmm.

Noticed it has been quiet around here lately. I'm mostly on Facebook. Not much going here, same ol, same ol. Just waiting for the spring to hurry and get here so I can jump back on the bicycle again. Thunder is in need of some repairs. Cracked windshield, back window tint is starting to bubble, need two tires, etc. All will have to wait until the new year. Hopefully we won't get screwed on our taxes like this year. Used to have a little mod money each month, now breaking even. I guess we are doing better than some I know at work. Cutting way back on OT and making about 10% less than last year. Buying a new AC unit didn't help at all, but very necessary.

Still happy though. Got each other and we are all healthy. That and I have my Mopar family as well.

Ick I know how that goes, I'm making alot less money now that the economy sucks, living paycheck to paycheck now when I never had the problem before. Luckily for me, both my Mopars are doing fine. I had to stop my school for now, at least until i start making more money again. But all is well otherwise. I've also noticed it got pretty quiet around here. Hope you guys all have a great holiday season and new year.

I'm mostly on FB too. I do have the LX Forums app on my phone though...it's not too bad at all. I can't believe you let thunder get a crack in the windshield.

Thanks Silas. I was able to go to the track one more time last Sunday, 11/27/11, and I was able to take my kids with me. We had a blast!!! The day was totally free for racers and spectators so it was crazy busy!!! There were so many cars out there running...lots of people watching and only about 20 minutes total that the track was stopped to be checked out. It was awesome!!! Wish you could have been here to play too.

Motor in the car is down again, working on another rebuild to come back stronger and more power
