Hope you guys don't mind me posting this here but wanted to share this with you all.
Well its time to bring everyone up to speed on my project over the winter. Last year I fought with a belt slip issue on the Paxton almost constantly. So i said enough is enough and sold the Paxton and had Redline convert my truck over to a Turbo Set-up!
Attached are a few photos from under the hood when it was almost completed. I will post more of the total finished look once I get it cleaned up a bit better.
Now down to the important stuff :-)
With the Paxton truck ran a best of 11.54 @ 119 MPH.
Today we headed to the track was raining just before we arrived there. So we said no point in throwing on the 17" rims lets just run with the 20" on the front. Plus we were running into a 15 MPH Headwind. Temp was close to 60 degrees with 90% humidity due to the wet conditions overnight. Also left the tailgate on. So basically other than the rear 28 X 15" X 10.5" ET Drag Slicks we were in full street trim.
Set the boost at 13 lbs and............................................... .........it ran this on its 1st run of the day!
60' -> 1.709 (Left 2 black stripes down the strip)
330' -> 4.638
1/8 -> 7.030
1/8 mph -> 103.37
1/4 -> 10.785
1/4 mph -> 131.22
HELL YEAH!
Then due to weather they shut the track down to running 1/8 only for the rest of the day :-(
So we played with the boost controller and brough the boost in a tad slower and hit our best 1/8 time
60' -> 1.597
1/8 -> 6.924
1/8 mph -> 103.77
Truck still has more in it!
Oh and video's to prove as well hope the links work ......
