Pics From DaSilva Racing Show & Shine/Dyno day

Several of us made it out to DaSilva's Racing Show & Shine/ Dyno day.

This was a great day and the funds raised went to the Sick Kids Hospital. They were able to raise $7003 in one day. That's an outstanding achievement, and all going to a worthy cause.

    Here are some my pics.

I was early getting there and was still # 64 and 11th in line for the Dyno. Waiting in line.

Here we are getting straped down.

They did several pulls, the tires would brake loose, until they pulled the strapes in more. I was unsure what she would do.

Seeing that the only thing that we have done on the motor is a CAI, I'm very happy with the 294 hp and 340 torque.

Then it was sik300srt8 Christian's turn.

He was smiling from ear to ear with the 511 hp. I would be too!!
Several other Durham Diehards went on the dyno, but I missed getting their pics on the dyno.

Some random pics from the day. If you don't mind Mustangs, a few are real nice (for a Mustang).

Grimbee - Dave with his blue SRT8 Charger took first place for best non-Ford in the show, and did real good on the dyno.

Here is Joe DaSilva and his girlfriend doing some draws for prizes, everyone wanted to win the 50/50 draw - we didn't.....

The weather could have been better, it was windy, but we all seemed to have a good time and I am looking forward to coming back next year.

I would again like to send congratulations to Joe DaSilva and his team for putting on a great event and raising funds for the Hospital for Sick Kids and to the many Diehard members who participated in this event.

    Gord

I did not get a chance to talk to him about his 300. Christian did spend a couple minutes with him, and I think he may come out this Saturday.

I did not get any pics of that one. Maybe some else did and can post their pics.
