Pickering Ribfest June this weekend (June 6 & 7th)

Just wanted to let you know about the Pickering Ribfest that's on in Pickering this weekend.

My family and I attended last year and had a great time. There's lots to do with live bands, beer tents and several award winning rib vendors to choose from. There's corn on the cob, pulled pork and of course hamburgers and hot dogs for the kids. And speaking of kids, there's a midway with rides and games for them too.

The Ribfest is held on the Esplanade which is the area between Valley Farm Rd (by the Pickering Rec Centre) and Glennana Rd (across from the Pickering Town Centre, in the parking lot of Pickering Library).

almost went yesterday, but aeyla got sunstroke and sick. in-laws went and weren't impressed. said mine were better. had to wait too long to get ribs and they were pretty expensive for what you get.

I hit the Oshawa Ribfest the last few years.. Helped that it was walking distance from the house.. But now that we've moved to North End I think we may skip it this year..

Lines and Costs are a deterent.. :(
