    The first DLXD Christmas party

    The best part of being a member of the Durham LX Diehards Club is the social activities!

    This year's Christmas party will be on:
    Sunday Dec. 7th 2008, at 6:30pm.

    Location:
    Applejacks Restaurant
    310 Harwood Ave.
    Ajax, Ont

    Cost will be $25/person (kids price to come).

    Although we're still working on finalizing the menu, it will include soup or salad, an entree, dessert and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.

    Please RSVP as early as you can, I need to give the restaurant the number of people coming.

    I currently have a donation of a door prize and we could use a few more. Please let me know if you can get more items for door prizes.

    In the spirit of giving, we would like to share with those who are less fortunate in our community this holiday season. Please bring an unwrapped toy or gift as a donation to the Salvation Army's Toy Mountain. Click on the link below for a list of items that are in need:

    We had a good start to seeing who would like to come, but it has fallen off lately.

    The people at Applejacks are looking for numbers. That why they can plan ahead, and if we have over 30 people coming, they may give us the whole place.

    Not sure yet as to scheduling with kids and all that .. 6:30 Sundays generally suck for me as far as being able to do anything.
