    The Diehards do it again

It was Saturday night and time for the weekly Show & Shine at the Ajax Canadian Tire. It was a dark and stormy night with the rain pouring down and so I didn't expect to see the usual complement of near 200 cars (including approx. 20 LXs) that show up each week. What I didn't expect what was I saw when I arrived - 6 Durham Diehard members and only 1 classic car!

True to our name, the Durham Diehards hung out in the rain and chatted about - what else - cars! I'd like to thank those that came from far in spite of the weather, Jen from Milton and Elaine from Barrie - they are Diehards indeed! The group stayed until about 9:00 PM then grabbed a bite at Applejack's.

Too bad I did not get any pictures, next time I will ensure I bring a camera.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

    Cheers
    Gord

sorry i couldn't make it folks.......
having the car in the body shop really sucks, but at least i know tomorrow she will be done and with her new face on to boot!
richard (nanook) saw my new puddle jumper while my girl is in getting her surgery and i even he can attest that it is not not the same as a charger!
    lol
also it was the brother inlaws birthday party so we went fo a damp dinner and party festivities at their place.
might not make next week either but am still unsure as it is my daughters birthday party. we have the starscan day at jaak's with fargo and then on to the party with fifteen crazy kids!
it is only at airzone at park rd so i may still get to make it afterwards though.
    i'm keeping my fingers crossed!
will post up some new pics of my car in the die hards members thread.
happy fathers day to all the daddy's out there and all the best to everyone.
    cheers,
    jay

    And she let you watch??

I was thinking about you guys (No...not Steve and his wife) and wondering what the turnout would be like as I was chilling out at my sister's place in St. Catherines.

I'm happy to hear that you guys had fun. Hopefully, we will see you next Saturday.

Can't wait to see your new mods Jay!!

sorry guys. was at a work thing with the family. thought about swinging by on the way home but figured a tired wife and two tired kids might not enjoy themselves.
