    Because it has the same shape? It is different then the actual "M" they use since it has the writing and its not solid blue. Should I have Joe straighten out the legs?

    I would at least straighten the legs. Still have to worry about using their name. You would think for a non-profit club name they would be cool with it but today who knows?

    Its only for a club. You are not selling any product. I don't think they would have a problem with that.
    If you are selling product to stores or online you will have a problem. Making tee shirts for the club is
    not a big deal. A lot of car clubs have brand affiliation.

    But so many clubs are called something with "Mopar". I don't think the name would be an issue. If anything, it's a nod to Mopar, not an attempt to steal anything from them. There might be an issue with the logo but maybe a little modification like mentioned can take care of that.

    It's not just for items for sales it also has to do with appearances, responsibility and what Mopar would consider proper conduct in regard to their trade mark. I would hope they wouldn't bother us but at the same time a forced name change after we set up a website, hand outs and so on would be a big set back. I'm no attorney it's just my opinion from what I have seen with other corporate logos being used without license.
