Halos went out!

Hmmmmm! Both Halos on the right side went out tonight. After I changed the oil this morning I went out a little later and smelled some thing like wires burning. Stopped and took a look around and every thing was OK. What I was smelling was the inverter on that side burning out I bet! Have to check it out tomorrow morning. By the way did you guys notice how much Synthetic oil is up! Mobil One is at $7 a quart and I paid $8.70 a quart for Royal Purple! Ouch!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that about the Halos Fred. That's why I'm kinda worried about getting them put in my new lamps. They just seem to be more trouble them worth at times. Yeah I was kinda shocked myself when I paid about the same for M1 0/40 at Auto Zone in Toms River last week. But the K&N filter was on sale for 9.99.

Yeah I have a hard time finding M1 full synthetic. In October I bought 7 gallons at Walmart for like $33 or so. That was a great deal. Now I can't find the 5-quart jug.

My drivers side Halos went out recently, talked to Tiffanie and was told they have a lifetime warranty.

Have to send them the bad inverter and after they check it out, I will get a new one.

Called ACC for a replacement inverter today. George mounted the inverters outside and above the light so I can get to them without removing the nose again so it's not to bad.
I spent the weekend at several dealers. They pulled the EP off on the SRT (at least for now) so the price just went back up 4.5K! That bites! But if you want a RT Challenger loaded with a sticker of 38K you can get it for 30 / 31K right now with the EP and extra incentives. It's a great deal but there are only a hand full left around here. Circle Dodge gave me a price of 28.5K for their Inferno Chally RT! I just don't want to trade up for another 5.7 (even though the new one is at 372HP). Still a lot of SRTs around because they pulled the employee pricing off of them.
Charger SRTs on the other hand are a great buy also because of the EP. They offered me EP of $4500, plus $2000 East Coast incentive, $1000 loyality and $1000 bonus using Chrysler credit at 3%! Thats over 8K off sticker! Great deal if anyone is looking to trade up to a Charger SRT!

LOL the hood has been queit! It was 5 guys out of over 100, can't make em all happy!
We have a Club meeting about our car show and coffee meet this Wed.
We are just 8 weeks out until the first show and we have a track date coming up in March that George will be posting about!
