When I did my last oil change in July I installed a Fumoto engine oil drain valve (it replaces the oil pan plug). I changed my oil yesterday using the valve for the first time. Just connected a hose to the valve and stuck the other end directly into the drain hole of my oil can, open the valve and let it drain. Saved me time and zero clean up with the oil draining directly into the can. Working on ramps at home the valve makes changing the oil a breeze. Just wanted to share the info. Here is a link to the product for more info.

PS: Ernie I installed the caps under the hood for the pins yesterday also and they look great! That was a great idea on your part, looks OEM.
Couldn't find the wiper arms for a Avalanche any where so I did use the Bosch squirters and after playing with them a little they actually work well.
