    Question Best hid kit?

So I really don't like the look of my headlights looking yellow compared to the 8K halos.
I want the halos to be a bit brighter so I want to go with a 6K hid kit. In trying to follow numerous threads about the Hids there seems to be a flicker issue with some kits, bulbs burning out to fast and so on.
That said in your opinion which is the best trouble free Hid kit out there? If you have a Hid kit installed what is your experience with it to date.
    Thanks

    Hey Fred.
I went with the AAC setup.
They are flicker free and were easy to install.
I think you can find them cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
I went with the 6k's and they are clear and bright.
I never need to use my Hi-beams anymore.
I believe Dabears2k has a set for 90 bucks, but then you need a capacitor kit for 35 bucks.
Check their thread in the General Vendor section.

    Thanks Mike,
The new AAC ballasts are also 100% water proof as well and the kit is plug and play. I know they are more money but it's a complete kit. At the same time Dabears offer a lifetime replacement deal including the bulbs.

Check with Stealth Automotive too. It's also a complete kit, plug n' play, and has a lifetime warranty on the bulbs and ballasts. I think they're running about $118 if you sign up for their free "VIP?" membership. $148 without the membership.
