    1/4 mile

    So who is running the best quarter mile times in our club. srt8 and rt's. I'm dying to hit the track. Anyone know what weekend englishtown opens for test and tune runs?

    Has anyone had the oportunity to go up against the GT500 Mustang? I was watching a video on Edmunds that said the KR was horrible in the 1/4 mile. Meaning it only did a 12.8 vs the Z06's 11. something. The reason I ask is because I was kind of debating the issue on YouTube with a guy who says a GT500 will "WALK" any SRT8 anything. So if the KR stock is in the 12's and a stock Charger/Challenger is in the low 13's, am I wrong by saying that it would be a race rather than a WALK for the GT500?

    With drivers of equal ability it seems that the GT500 should have no problem vs a SRT8. These times are from drag times.com based on actual time slips. Not getting hung up on what the term walk means as far as times go it looks like the GT500 is .5 to .8 faster than a Challenger SRT. Stock vs stock the SRT doesn't seem to stand a chance so a walk? Respectably competitive? Kind of in the eye of the beholder thing. Ford guys will say its a walk! Dodge guys will say race! Others will say both!

    But we have a secret weapon in our club! A certain member with green Magnum SRT who head is so big and full of hot air, even though its hot air, when his head explodes going down the track at the 1/8 mark the force of the air acts as a 200HP supercharger and will walk any GT500!
