Good :: Billet Technology Answers Distress Call

Well Heidi and the gang at Billet Tech do it again.

Yesterday in Houston, the anxiety about Hurricane Ike was building as employers sent folks home early, mandatory evacuations in some areas had started, etc.

So on my commute home ( commuter bus from downtown to burbs ) - I tried to leave a little early, but traffic was a pretty good mess. I get a phone call from my wife who says she is at the bank in the drive through and her 300c was stuck in park.....I'm like huh?

So I told her It would take me about an hour to get to her with the rest of my commute to my car and then back out to her.

I had a brief mem flash that somewhere I saw posts about cars stuck in park and pink thingy or something from BT... So I called my pal Heidi.

She was like --oh crap...hurricane is comin and your wife is stuck....yea its the new part we released....She told me a lil about it then used her other phone and called Scott ( 1fast4dr) who was on vacation to get more details about how to get the car moving again.

I hated that she had to bother scott on vacation, but since I was on the bus and didn't have internet access she wanted to make sure I knew enought to get the car home (guess its time for the iphone like my buddy Rob stealthsrt8 has-- sure I make fun of him about it, but guess I needed it ..lol !)) ok back on track...

So she gives me Scott's number and he walks me thru what i need to do.. just awesome how folks in this LX world are always willing to lend a hand. Scott even called me later that night to make sure I got home.

So I just gotta say -- Team BT good.........no, GREAT !!!!

THx again Heidi and Scott -- really appreaciated the help

    Johnny Bee

*** oh and a little side note -- I had an email this am with a tracking number cuz Heidi made sure I had some parts in route to me to get fixed asap.

    Thank you -- Thank you

Johnny Bee, glad we could be there to help ya out. Having been thru multiple hurricanes here, being able to at least maybe help get rid of some of the stress for you and Mrs. Bee is whats its about.

I'm glad you guys made out ok too. Thanks for keeping me informed about our brothers and sisters in the Houston area after the storm. Let us know if you guys need anything.
