September 2008 Photo Contest - Voting Thread

This month's theme was: "Forks, Knives, Spoons and an LX"
    Voting Ends: Sunday, September 28th

    (early Monday morning, actually)

Well, this month we had only 12 submissions, so I thought we'd give it a go with only one voting thread, rather than a two-thread runoff process. If we do have a tie for first, I'll do a runoff thread.

The winner will choose next month's theme.

Here are the Submissions, in the order they were received:

    Thirsty4907

    GA-Mike

    Dupie24

    sublime1365

    Roger K

    Weasel3i3

    chuck-n-michelle

    Motor

    Fondy

    joe incognito

    Fade2Black

This is a tough one this month...I like 4 different shots!
How to choose, how to choose.....????
Edit: and I see by the current poll results, I am not alone (3 way tie for 1st with a close 2nd as of right now....)

Best Composition by far and great lighting. Could use a little "light painting" on the wheel though, could also use a "white foam core" to reflect light back into the wheel. Great shot and know it isn't easy shooting at nite, got my vote.

^^^ thanks Natas. Unfortunately the wife was pissed (we were missing Project Runway apparently) and the manager of the 5 & Diner wasnt real pleased with me being there either. On top of everything I didnt have time to clean the car which was covered in overspray and fiberglass dust. I popped my 2 flashes once for the overall car and twice on the wheel area. I have a couple of versions where there is more shadow detail but its easy to overflash that glossy powdercoat.
