November 2008 Photo Contest - "Gloomy"

Congratulations to Motor, last month's winner!

This month's theme will be: Gloomy
    Submission Deadline: Wednesday, November 19th

Dark, depressing, foggy, bare trees, leaves, B&W a plus, rain on cars, etc.

It fits in with the season...

Important notes! The deadline is much earlier this month, because of the changes we're making - we have to stagger the timeline so the announcement doesn't conflict with LXOM announcements. Next month we will have the full timeline again.

*** Please read the Changes we're making. ***

    Here's the rules, folks:

    1) One entry per member, per contest.
    2) Member must take photo.
    3) Member's LX must be in the photo.
    4) Photograph must be taken for this contest - no previous shots allowed.
    5) Photoshopping is not allowed except for modifying the license plate, brightness and contrast, and crop/resize.
    6) Maximum size - 800 x 600. Oversize photos will not be allowed. Resizing available if needed.
    7) The winner will be responsible for deciding upon the theme of the following month's contest, and is not eligible to participate in that contest.

Submissions should be posted to THIS thread, any time through Wednesday, November 19th. Submissions posted elsewhere will not be counted.

Voting will begin on a separate thread as soon as the submission deadline passes.

So get out your camera, and go get gloomy! Let's see what you can come up with.

Well at the very least, I should be able to get the B&W part of it. Maybe I need to do some traveling where they do have that stuff. LOL! That's OK Motor, it will be a good challenge.

I smile because i have no idea whats going on.

Damn, I should go back my car out right now - its dark, hazy (not quite foggy) and there are a bunch of bare trees around and its getting ready to rain (wait, I just detailed the car, and I'm getting it ready to park for the winter, maybe I'll wait a few days...)....
