February 2010 Photo Contest - My LX/LC in Winter

Congratulations to Dupie24, last month's winner

This month's theme will be: My LX/LC in Winter
Submission Deadline: Monday, February 15th

"My LX/LC in Winter". Everyone should be able to participate, even those in storage or garaged. Looking for what you feel winter and your car are all about. Hope you all have fun with this!!!

Submissions should be sent to Junior in a PM, any time through Monday night, February 15th.

Any photos posted in this thread that are for this months theme will be deleted. Submissions posted elsewhere will not be counted.

Voting will begin on a separate thread as soon as the submission deadline passes.

Here's the rules, folks:

1) One entry per member, per contest.
2) Member must take photo.
3) Member's LX must be in the photo.
4) Photograph must be taken for this contest - no previous shots allowed.
5) Photoshopping is not allowed except for modifying the license plate, brightness and contrast, and crop/resize.
6) Maximum size - 800 x 600. Oversize photos will not be allowed. Resizing available if needed.
7) The winner will be responsible for deciding upon the theme of the following month's contest, and is not eligible to participate in that contest.

Today would be a perfect day to get my shot - 15° and getting colder, high winds blowing freshly fallen snow into big drifts.

Unfortunately, the wind is blowing the wrong direction - into the garage. And, if the garage door wasn't frozen shut (had freezing rain and regular rain all weekend), I wouldn't want a snow drift in my garage (the one in front of the garage door only took 5 minutes to form and its almost 1 foot deep!), so I'll have to wait a few days....

^^^ I'll remember this when it's 115° this summer! That's when we pay for it - right now it's gorgeous.

But got one submission in already, and it's a doozy!

If we get snow all this week like we're supposed to, you can bet I'll find a pic to take. Right now, though, it's in the high 40's....in January....in Upstate NY!! This is not right at all!! I can actually see grass in my back yard!!

lmao... I took a couple pics yesterday.. just need to decide if i want to use one or wait and take a couple more

Oh that's just great...first off, we are hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics in 16 days and we have no snow on the mountains...and then you come up with this photo theme...

Well I will have to park the Rocket under the long jump ramp and take a few pics...then I'll shows ya's!!!
